DRI Sleeper Excel - Bedwetting Alarm for Children

The DRI Sleeper Excel is the classic DRI Sleeper alarm and has been used successfully for decades by hundreds of thousands of children worldwide to solve bedwetting.

  • Double-Sided Sensor with 18 Sensing strips for fast detection of urine
  • Loud Alarm set to a frequency is ideal for deep sleepers
  • Long Cord (18cm) - for extra reach
  • Works with pull-ups or diapers unlike clip-on sensors
  • Flexible Plastic Sensor - easy to clean & won't rust or corrode like metal ones

The Excel Alarm is attached by a clip to the shoulder of your child's night-shirt with a plug-in double-sided plastic sensor with 18 sensing strips. This means superior moisture detection, which is good for boys who may wet in different areas, and because the sensor goes right inside the underwear it can be used with pull-ups and diapers, unlike alarms with the traditional clip-on sensors.

Worked wonders

We have taken it step by step. The machine does exactly what it says it will do and my son is now dry at nights. He is so proud of himself and his confidence in that area is restored. So happy with the results. I would recommend to anyone and I do.

We are so pleased for him! Well done :)

Seems to be working!

We have been using this for around 3 weeks now and wish we’d tried one sooner. After a a little less than a week we noticed less wee in the nappy pants by the morning, although not consistently so at first. We are at around 1 week of practically no wee at night now. However, I should say that when the alarm did go off my child often did not wake from that alone, so be prepared to wake them yourself (at least at first) but it definitely seems to be having the desired effect!

Sound like you are making great progress! Well done :)

You are correct, children wil benefit by being gently woken if they don't respond themselves to the alarm. Also, using strategies such as priming and visualisation can help them learn to respond to the alarm even if they are deep sleepers.

Brilliant, simply brilliant

Like other reviewers, I wish I had bought this much earlier! My daughter is 8 and was only dry at night every few days. Two weeks using the alarm and she is now dry, nearly 3 months now. Cannot recommend this alarm highly enough. It’s very simple to use and my daughter didn’t mind it at all. She is a very deep sleeper too but the alarm did wake her. Great, thank you Dri Sleeper!!!

We are so please for your daughter! Congratulations she has done a great job.

Questions Parents often ask

Will this work for my child?
Most likely, a bedwetting alarm solves bedwetting for up to 9 in 10 young people. We have many resources and lots of experience so can guide you if needed.
How long will it take?
Typically, 70% of young people will be dry in 2 to 12 weeks using our alarms. Some are quicker, some take longer. We encourage you to use the resources we provide and talk to our adviser to get the best outcome for your young person.
Is it safe?
Yes it is very safe. Our alarms are registered with regulatory agencies around the world. Read more.
The sensor contains Safety Electronics which means no risk of skin irrritation.
There are no metal contacts so no part of the sensor will corrode or deteriorate in urine.
Is it easy?
It is easier than changing then washing sheets everyday! The alarm will wake you and your child up, but it will quickly become routine. Take a break if it gets too much.
Should we continue to use diapers?
We suggest ditching the diapers as they can remove the feeling of wetness which may interfere with the learning process. If you need the diapers to reduce the stress or mess, then go for it.
Won’t they just grow out of it?
Children may eventually learn not to wet the bed on their own. If you think about it, you taught them not to wet themselves during the day – why would you not teach them to not wet during the night?
Do they wet the bed because of low hormones?
Many children have low levels of the hormones that regulate urine production at night, but DON’T wet the bed. If hormones are an issue then your doctor may prescribe medication to use along with the alarm.
My child wets the bed because they are deep sleepers – will the alarm help?
Yes, you can use our strategies for deep sleepers to help them sleep learn to sleep dry. Remember MANY children are deep sleepers and don’t wet the bed.
